In fact he played terribly on every match point he had. Should have won

He lost the second set on a wild double-fault

And another one here

Jack PJ just gets a rush of blood to the head

He did as a 15 year-old, and I thought he'd have grown out of it/been coached out of it

But it's still there

And it's a real shame - he just shoots himself in the foot

Hopefully with more time on tour as a regular it can be ironed out! Bad day today though!

All down to Oli C for today - looks like he may be getting back in it?

Oliver looked SO happy, SO pumped, and SO relieved

Saved two breakback points with excellent serves. And got the soft UE on MP just when he needed it

So Oli joins Billy and Jay in round 2 - hope one of them can get through to the FQR stage

Fantastic draw for Draper.
Qualifier, then Bergs/Tseng, and then Diallo (31).
He should be getting to the fourth easily there where he is seeded to meet Lorenzo Musetti (10) who maybe a bit of a challenge. Sinner in QF, Zverev in Semi.

Tough for Fearnley
Bautista Agut in round 1 and then Zverev in 2. Auger-Alliasme followed by Rublev then De Minaur if he was to go on a wonderful run.

Tough, but winnable start for Norrie
Korda in round 1, then Michelsen (28) in round 2. Djokovic in 3, Rune in 4, Fritz in QF, Alcaraz in Semi.

Again totally disagree that is a fantastic draw for Jack. Unless you think getting through a couple of rounds is enough.

As we saw when Emma won the title, you just got to get through the rounds.

We saw at Wimbledon the seeds just tumbled. He should have no issue getting to round 4 and should beat Musetti too. Then he is in the QF and while Sinner is obviously the worst of the four he could meet, the guy is unwell and may not make it.

Horrible draw for Alcaraz.

Oliver Crawford was so close to winning that first set - had several SPs, and a couple on his racket

But ended up losing it, and it seems very unlikely now
