That would be a minus point for Southampton!

Why would they put the two finals on tomorrow at the same time? I know they dont expect crowds etc but just seems like it wouldnt be difficult to not have them at exactly the same start time?

 Because they can !

Courts 3 and 5 are end on and are the two closest to the clubhouse with the best viewing. You could actually watch both matches at once without moving, especially since there will be very few spectators.

I agree. It's a bit disrespectful, to be honest

But they do it because they want it over and done with by lunchtime

Which I understand - and it's common - and not wrong - you're using quite a lot of volunteers for this sort of thing and those volunteers would like their Sunday afternoon back

Thanks CD, get that - I just think an M25 is in its own right - any futures level event - something to be given respect; it may be a players first or only ever professional title. And should be treated as something to savour. Even if the crowd is two men and a dog, give it the space to stand alone as something a little special.

even at my local club tourney when I ran the events, we would have a finals day with the days finals standing as standalone matches, 5 through the day starting with singles through to mixed. It made a long day, but theres only 2 finals here. Oh well.

They obviously can only afford one umpire, so he/ she has to sit between the courts and watch alternate points.
