Based on Olivers score so far he seems a class above at this event.

Time shall tell.

A very interesting list for the last 8 per SC

QF: (1) Oliver Tarvet WR 402 vs (7) Blake Mott (AUS) WR 595
QF: (6) James Story WR 553 vs Oscar Weightman WR 838
QF: Ben Jones WR 652 vs (2) Paul Jubb WR 408
QF: (3) Henry Searle WR 415 vs (5) Harry Wendelken WR 512

I think an Oli v Henry final will be interesting , or v Jubby; and a Jubby v Henry semi - if they come to pass

... except that the Oli match and the Henry vs Harry match are actually the two top half QFs.

Oh well - good semi then. I assumed it was in draw or draw half order for some reason.

And in which case Paul should really be expecting nothing less than a final if he is anything like on form. Which he isnt.

Naa, SC was just adding on the finally determined Henry vs Harry match-up ( the fact that it was written as (3) vs (5) made me suspect that it was top half ).

Jubbs last tournament was an M25 win so he has som e form, albeit in a fairly weak tournament. I would expect him and Tarvet to reach the final and Tarvet seems a class above to me, even at this stage.

hard not to see past Tarvet v Searle and Jubb v Story - I reckon Tarvet and Searle is a real 50/50, but Jubby should be getting through this

It is a really interesting field left in, have to say

Maybe. I don't trust Searle not to have seemingly unexpected losses or wins. He is still very unpredictable.

yes, I think Jon is mainly looking at rankings

Whereas, as you say, Indy, Henry is highly up and down

And James had the devil' own job to win yesterday and Oscar has been at college so who knows quite where he's at....

No idea what the betting sites think

Absolutely cracking match between Harry and Henry - for anyone who's got 10 mins and wants to watch a bit of livestream

Just super

Id forgotten how much it slows the game down when the players have to retrieve their own tennis balls! Taking CDs advice and watching for a while - may switch to Hannah Klugman later if I have time. Indiana seems spot on as usual. When Henry is at his best its pretty awesome stuff, but he also throws in some completely inexplicable errors at times. Very hit and miss. Must be so frustrating for him and his coaching team.

2 breaks in a row against Henry, the last of which was truly awful! 4 huge UEs in a row.
