Hmm, a kind of pretty conclusive 3 set win if you can have such a thing.

Still at least Arthur is showing general real progression of late.

As per earlier, it will still leave him outside of the top 300 for now.

Just seen the score - ouch, 1 and 4.

US Open first round loser gets $110k. Add to that $20k or so at each of Canada and here, Jake could pocket $160k over these few weeks without actually doing anything of note. he is in Winston Salem as well, but he could probably use the match play there.

Tough draw for Lloyd & Julian this time - potentially Ebden/Thompson in R2, who were the last pair to beat them. But I dont think an early loss here would be a bad thing; they've played a hell of a lot of tennis recently and a good rest before the US might reduce some of the expectation and give them a chance to freshen up.
