Week 33 - W35 Aldershot, Great Britain - Hard

Nice job, the addict

Looking at the up-for-grabs ones and working up, I reckon we'll win the bottom section (Ciara/Jaqui's), and Tegan'section

We'll lose Klara Veldman's one

Then there's the two guaranteed ones

Then, there's a 50:50 one - Lily Hutchings beat Mary Lewis a week or so ago - but it was touch and go - Mary isn't great, but it's not the strongest group of GB players either

We'll probably lose Shaik's one

And similarly, Marie Weckerle isn't amazing, although she's well ranked - another 50:50 one

We lost the two 50:50 ones but they were only 50:50 in the first place

All the others came out right

As for Hollie Smart, b*gger, got that wrong, thanks for putting it right, everyone - but, hey, she just needs to win a match - go for it, Hollie !

 Well, there's three guaranteed

Hannah has a really pretty easy match that should be a slamdunk (unless she's in a slump/tired/ after last week)

Vic has got to have a very good chance against the SR

Hollie Smart has a decent chance too against (q) Veldman

Jaqui O has a good chance too against (q) Weckerle

Alice could beat Ankita

and....

I'm going for more than five smile

I only had Hannah and possibly Brooke beating non GB players.

Fooey to both of you biggrin

I hope you're wrong too smile

Of course, Brooke will probably lose now, and all my 'decent' chance players too no

 Yes

Hollie is odds-on favourite

1.53 x last times I looked

Vic is more favoured by the bookies than Brooke (who obviously has a fighting chance too)

And Alice Gillan is evens with Ankita

So I'm hopeful smile

Yes, you're right - hope is a fickle friend cry

But I'm going for three extra (at least !)

Half of the draw plays today - with 8 GB girls in action. Just 3 doubles matches, with 6 GB girls

Can get Hollie at evens (2.0) now after she loses the first 8 points of the match, *0-2
