Jake, Harriet and Maia go tomorrow - it feels quite patchy play compared to the all encompassing Wimbledon or French. Im struggling to get into it, tbh.
Now the doubles draws are out, I can see a way to a decent haul- 26 looking like a decent target based on rankings. Oh, thats what Indy chose!
Yes, Mr Flipflop. Though actually don't we already have a Flipflop
Actually it feels like any number now is going to be fuelled very much by the men's doubles. I see that starts tomorrow - this could be a different feel of slam to many others where we get lots of first week wins and then they drip to a close; we could see this one very much second week loaded potentially.
Yes, when I voted , first of all I saw that the mixed would not be included, which had been last year; however I counted up more doubles players than last year plus Emma and Jack being pretty sure fire ( to my mind) so I went for my high figure, just two more than last year's total I think. However, now Jack is gone, I am probably 4 over my estimate, so not going to be a good look for me in total tally , sadly. Just saying LOL

Other players might exceed your expectations, Julia C.
I am unlikely to get my 10 singies wins estimate ( though, go Emma in particular ) but looking at the entries and the draws for the doubles ( all of which is still to unfold ) I could well see me getting a few more than my doubles estimate of 16 wins.
So much still to play out.

Friday we have mens and womens singles, 2 womens doubles and 5 mens doubles , so 9 chances to get a win. The mens, womens singles and womens doubles are all our remaining players play in those formats.

Could be quite a big day for the British players.
Outside of the 9 today, theres only then 2 other mens doubles pairs left in outside of that to go tomorrow. Really does feel like today is a defining day in where we land.
Dont think anyone expected Emma to get a W today, but Julian and Lloyd losing was a blow and to the potential total number of wins as well as just today.
