 I wouldn't particularly say so since it's extremely unlikely to all go with rankings. But yes, those around that mark are looking in a much better position than say, someone predicting 26 

DF is looking good, not just here but for the overall 2025 Slams. She carries forward 30 points from being spot on for Wimbledon and has predicted 19  for the US Open.

 Indeed - it was more throwing it out there re a specific score! 

havent been checking the standings potential but, yes, DF does look in an interesting position!

Is the maximum possible not 26?

We got 6 wins in total from singles. Then I make it that our 4 doubles R1 winners could theoretically end up with 20 wins in total.

eg. Luke+ from the top half win the title for 6 wins in total and from the bottom half Joe & Neal get 5 wins as RU, beating Marcus+ in the QF so 3 wins for Marcus+. Katie & Sonay could get 6 wins as title winners.

6 + 6 + 5 + 3 + 6 = 26.  I'm still in this  biggrin

Erm.


My maths was:

We have 10 wins so far (is that correct)

Plus 4 more womens doubles = 14

Plus 11 from mens doubles ie

Luke can get 4 to reach the final in top half

Joe/Neal and Marcus get 5 more for one of them to reach the semi, 6 for a final and then a British winner makes it 11 overall.

So that is 25?

Where am I differing ?

Is the British 10 to date wrong - maybe no one updated it or its missing a win that no one has recorded?

I havent time to go back through the wins but if 10 is correct and 4 and 11 to come are correct then Im still seeing 25?!

V happy to be wrong!

I see DF agrees with Indy.

Im still confused - mens doubles?

Joe and Marcus both win 1 to reach last 16, 2 for last 8 (equals 4) and one wins another for semi and then into final = 6

Luke wins 4 in top half = 10

One of them wins final = 11

4 womens doubles = 15 to come? Or is that the issue? The women can win 5 more? Sorry I got it, I thought they were last 16 not 32

My excuse is I drove 9 hours round trip to Edinburgh, 410 miles, yesterday to pack my daughters flat up, bring it all home (car was groaning) and then in two weeks take it all back again to move into her new flat. Which is only half a mile or so from her current flat. Aaghh

our max score is now 22 

 

 the anonymous voter probably needs to say who they are now, if they can! 9 predictors left in plus the anonymous person. Ill take them out of any final reckoning unless the let me know who they are. 

in terms of the top 10; its the 10 closest people incl ties - so some of those already out of the running to win could still end up in the final top 10. It depends where the dice lands.
