If the final tally comes in at 17 or below, then equal 10th place will include those on 23 wins - I will take the anonymous voter out if they havent come forwards by the end of British players playing today!

Katie and Sonay lose, so the maximum is down to 17, and Telstar is out on his own. Not a good USO for the Brits.

Indeed - congrats to Telstar who is our winner of the US Open 2025 prediction contest - and Telstar almost forgot to tell us what theyd voted!

Ill wait to see how the final tally plays out so wont declare the overall points tally for the season and who is our champion overall for 2025 until we know if we are hitting 17 wins or less.

Joe / Neal and Marcus in 3rd sets as I write.

With Joe / Neal and Marcus+'s wins we clearly still don't whether we will end on 17 ( if our remaining pairs win their L16 matches to meet in the QF and the winner of that match wins the title ) or less.

But actually, it is now clear who is the overall champion for 2025 - and Jon has declared this in the predictions overview thread. Well done to them and to Telstar for being the US Open contest winner!

Yeah, after i posted, I realised nothing that happened going forwards would change the top 3, so decided to declare - sort of US election style; I called the result!

v close though and a story of two halves - DF getting Wimbledon spot on ended up making the difference. So it effectively came down to one win, or one loss, by a Brit in a slam over the whole season.

And would US Open have made any difference if the mixed was played normally and formally included this time?! Who knows!
