Please could someone give me a link to the place where you can see the tournaments and dates where a player earned points.

WTA Open Era & Live Rankings

You can filter by country/age.  This is the one I look at. There are others and others on here might prefer them.

Emma to face Shibahara in round 1 and Fran to face Lys - great draw for both players, and if Fran gets through, her second round would be either Noskova, seeded 21, or Galfi.

Pretty good draw for Emma. I saw Shibahara's final qualifier where she demolished a far from fit Gracheva. She was hitting the ball well but Emma should win that.

Fran against Lys features two players I admire for their tenacity to overcome personal health issues. Fran has had a really great year so far and she could easily win this match. You never quite know with Lys which version of her will turn up. She lives with a rheumatic  autoimmune disease which has a potentially debilitating effect on her daily life and playing tennis too. I'd say this is 50:50 though I guess Lys will start as favourite.

Yes, I really like the OER site. You can change it to the ATP Rankings but then the ATP site provides a full rankings points split for all its players, something the WTA site should do!!!!

Thank you very much.  I have looked there before, but only this morning realised that I needed to click the drop down arrow on the number of points.

I understand from those who use it that it is more accurate than LTR. But I cant get on with the Openera format and dont like using it, so stick with LTR, as it works for what I need, which is typically just a superficial look. Its layout feels much more user friendly for the non technical folks like me!

Very easy win. Her next opponent will be decided in a couple more hours. Emma wasn't the first winner of the day though, the other Kudermetova won 2-2 retired.

I just watched the 2nd set and clinical is a good description. Just great to see a Brit winning in straight sets R1 without breaking sweat, as a top player should against mediocre opposition

Nice for Emma to get such a straightforward first win at the US Open since her infamous 2021 Slam run.

V. Kudermetova WR25 is struggling against J.Tjen WR149. Tjen won the first set, is a break up in the 2nd and very nearly went 2 breaks up. Whoever wins it looks encouraging for Emma.
Emma is 33 in the live rankings and another win could take her into the top 30.

It's gone to a decider, with Tjem currently 2-0*
