NB I don't see Max as a 'battling on' candidate - he's been doing top studies, at swanky institutions, not trudging round trying to earn his crust
His dad is also on the ATP Board, was a non-exec director at Wimbledon, and has been very successful in several big private equity ventures
I don't think Max is 'battling' in the way many other players are ....
Ha, fair comment - bad choice of words! I meant in the context of his past few weeks and push for the top 500 really. Hes clearly not battling in life and he is clearly making progress in the rankings!
and he got a PoM nomination last month to add to his creds!
