In the womens match of the day Ohio State beat NC State 5-2
No joy for either Hep or Jasmine in doubles and Jasmine got NC State's only singles win beating Hep at No 6. Flora didn't play either doubles or singles as Ohio State tried new doubles pairings after a disappointing doubles showing last week.

6: Jasmine Conway (NC State) d. Hep Oluwadare 7-6 (6) 6-4

After the womens team reaching the final and the mens team being your tournie favourites, Ohio State looks like it has the strongest overall programme this year?

You got me thinking there Jon. Yes, at the moment they are but we'll see whether they are come the end of the season. There are not many universities with top teams whose athletic departments put roughly the same resource into their mens and womens tennis programs. Of those that do, Stanford should be strong but are perineal underachievers, Texas' women's program is strong on paper but are young and inexperienced at college level, Virginia's womens program is slightly weaker this year. LSU have strengthened their mens program this year but we're missing key players on both mens and womens in the indoor championships so we'll see where they are when at full strength.

Ohio State living dangerously with another 4-3 comeback win. Okonkwo lost his doubles set.
They'll play either Virginia or Mississippi State in the semi-final.

TCU's run of 4 consecutive indoor finals comes to an end as they lose 4-3 to rivals Texas. Oli lost 4-6 7-6(2) 4-6
