This run has come a bit out of nowhere for Langmo. Been struggling recently.

Exactly the same thought - Ficovich who he beat has also been up and down, recently lost 3 and 3 to Arthur just before the US Open, but beat Jake in qualies for Canada Masters, so depends which one turned up as to how good was that win for Langmo.

Wow, JPJ 6-2 4-1 ahead. He does appear to be a player to really watch.

Question - who would win a mini tournament between Jack PJ, Arthur, Billy, JoMo, Jay, Jan, Evo now - our challenger right now. Our challenger players as things stand?

Not to forget George L! But I'd back Arthur right now biggrin

JPJ makes it four men's singles titles for the week - that without a set dropped:

Final:  (4) Jack Pinnington-Jones WR 240 defeated Trevor Svajda (USA) WR 506 by 2 & 2

  biggrin

 Forgot Loffers!

mmm. Id say JPJ and Arthur would be close, you know. In fact it would be a darn interesting event - add Loffers in and we have an 8 man field. Winner to join Jack D, Cam and Jake in a British Masters! Haha - I feel a fantasy tournament / polls in the offing !?

It is nice to have enough to have that for sure! JPJ is most dangerous at his best I think... Be nice to get to pre Wimbledon challengers with them all plus Crawford of course!

I only saw the last 4 games, so I can't really give too much insight.  95 minutes for only 16 games is quite long though.  There seemed to be almost no spectators, and not a single ball kid either.

JPJ won 10 consecutive sets this week, this is no mean feat.
