His highest ranked beaten opponent is 118 as well. This really would be massive for Jan. come on!

Come again?

He has never won someone inside the top 100? I get he is largely a Challenger player but I still find that absolutely incredible.

When he won someone like Laslo Djere at Wimbledon I am surprised he was outside the top 100 at the time.

Come again indeed. For I have checked Jan's Slam activity on the ATP site and he beat Dusan Lajovic ( then WR 56 ) in R1 of Wimbledon 2023.

Major apologies - I used tennis Abstract but it seems I was looking at just the past 52 weeks. I know there is an all time function for a player but cant find it but I have misled. It doesnt change that it was a great week and was the best win he has had in the past 12 months, but just not all time. Sorry

I have edited my original post. It is the best title level win though, that is correct?

I'm still trying to work out how you win someone!   Stick him/her in a coconut shy?  In a hoopla?  confuse

Ignoring retirements or defaults - it is always the person who wins the final point who wins

One wins a match, one beats a person.

Agreed - in fact, if you won a person, where in your house would you have room to keep them? And the food bills as well?!

You likely wouldn't be allowed to keep it when your mum found out, anyway.

I am happy to go around pointing out the numerous small typos across the rest of the board - in the interest of making sure nobody is accidentally misled - I will take up my work in the coming weeks.

Most frequently these are on the full listings of upcoming matches - digits transposed in career high rankings, missing letters in surnames, incorrect demarcation of the stage of the draw etcetera.
