Emphatic wins there, with a particularly good looking one from Toby.

Completes a good day in men's singles with 7 out of our 8 quarter finalists now into SFs ( 2 challengers, 1 M25, and 4 M15s ). All 7 in straight sets too.

Just Henry Searles' disappointing QF defeat in Portugal let the side down.

And actually looking at men's doubles I see that 6 of our 7 doubles pairs or part pairs also won on Friday.

Luke+ into QFs in the later running ATP 250, 4 pairs into finals, and James Hopper+ winning their M15 USA final, with just Joe Tyler+ losing.

So overall for our men on Friday, I make it that 13 out of 15 won. Fantastic Friday!!

Thanks for that update, Indy- hadnt followed much of the detail this past couple of days, so pleased to hear that news!

That conversion of quarters into semis follows a similar thing last week - good to see us starting to, hopefully, do that consistently.

As well as a Friday Feeling thread, we maybe need a Super Saturday one as well! JK

Yes, last week, looking back to men's singles a big thing there was the sheer number of quarter finalists we had in the first place and in the Friday Feeling thread - 17.

The conversion rate was pretty good at 12 out of 17 into the SFs so a great SF count too, and we ended up with 4 men's singles titles.

Congrats to Viktor !

Unranked in doubles, and only 19 - lovely to kick your doubles ranking off with a title

One of Wales' finest, I believe
