Megan has to tackle another precocious talent, younger than her, in round 2. The 13 year old Japanese girl Sakino Miyazawa has been mentioned frequently in this section, having won the Wimbledon under 14 event amongst others.

Rosie has teamed up with Sakino and they squeaked home 11-9 in a match tiebreak to join Ophelia+ and Megan+ in the doubles quarters

There was better news in the doubles, where another 11-9 MTB win for Rosie and Sakino over the top seeds ensures a Brit in the final
