I can still seeing her playing Wrexham to try and defend her Shrewsbury title points. But still an interesting to choice to play BJKC and only one event on the Asian swing. However she's always marched to the beat if her own drum and working for her.

 Sonay has withdrawn from Wrexham.

That's a pity. She joins Heather, Harriet, Brooke and Naiktha who have all withdrawn for various reasons. I looked at the list a couple of hours ago, and she's withdrawn since.

Only Jodie left in as a DA. And shes not always to be relied upon!

 Sonay has withdrawn from Wrexham.

Thats because she is playing Ghangzhou. Hopefully

A real shame if Sonay is injured, getting back into the Top 50 by the end of the season certainly looked possible after her great run.

Emma is on Centre court tomorrow second, after Osaka, so sometime after after 5am, probably after 5.30am.

Osaka's match went on rather a long time - so only just started now

1-1

Well I didn't have getting thrashed by Ann Li on my bingo card

1-6 *1-3

She looks absolutely terrible (physically, from the heat/humidity) and is barely chasing any balls.

Emma has a MTO with the doctor checking her temperature and blood pressure. She certainly looks out of sorts today, with errors galore.

And she retires.

Complaining of fever/dizziness. A bit under the weather plus these conditions is only going to end one way. Oh well.

I couldn't understand why the MTO happened after so long, not that they could have done much if she was dehydrated and low in electrolytes for example

Lose the second set 2-6 - an early break and the final game. So another MTB
