Jake clearly has done extremely well to rise up the rankings so rapidly and I may be harsh on him; he is still our third highest ranked player and top 100 (comfortably) and I am sure it will come back. But something hasn't been right, for whatever reason, with his game since before the Wimbledon. He is lined up for Vienna qualies this weekend, as things stand, and then Paris qualies (6th alt currently) and then it looks like Athens qualies after that. I guess if there is an injury or illness we might not see him in Vienna, so let's look out for that when the draw gets released later today (presumably?)

 That's interesting, his comment about nerves. The look in his eyes I took to mean resigned to losing, could easily have been related to lack of confidence in his game

He was saying hed served loads more doubles than hed like and said it was anxiety - cant remember which thread it was in or tournie; maybe after the US Open?
