Im just following the points on the ITF website! Mimi throwing in a few double faults, wonder if she is going for more on her first serve? So frustrating! Anyway Mimi takes the first set 6-3.

That's a shame. Is it just me, but it felt like there were more LTA streams of UK-based ITF events last year? Seems like they've cut investment in that a little bit, which is unfortunate.

Does seem pretty poor. All costs money of course but the LTA's spending priorities are often questionable.

It's not actually the LTA's fault

It's the new ITF contract

LTA no longer have the right to broadcast youtube livestreams

It's all owned by the new ITF providers now - so either the ITF lay on livestreams or no one does

That's so ridiculous of the ITF. Yet another example of tennis shooting itself in the foot

Fascinating tussle between Mika and Mimi.

Mimi served for the match at 6-3, 6-5 but Mika broke back to force a tiebreak. Then Mimi was leading 4-2 in the breaker, and Mika won five straight points to take it 7-4.

Now into a decider

And now Mika in the driving seat. 4-1 up in the third with the double break

Marni won the first set, Alicia the second, and Marni has held to love at the start of the third.

I do intend to go through Birmingham on Sat, so may have the opportunity to pop in and watch the final if the final is in the morning. Then off to Wrexham for most of the week.
It looks like Mika v Marni for a spot in the final
