Very well done biggrin  I was a little surprised to see that Arthur was quite a strong betting favourite at 1-1 in the third set. He rather justified that though!

Live ranked 200! - with Grenier playing Poullain tomorrow to establish Arthur's French opponent in R2.

Though one could say that this week Smith lost in qualifying after jettisoning in as an alt, and it's often debatable how much to take from any one match anyway ( the glorious unpredictability of tennis ). Overall though yes re Arthur being ready to move into the 100s.

You're right. We shouldn't take too much from one match. But Smith beat both Droget and Duckworth earlier in October and I'd like to think these two results are a better indication of his quality.

A tougher ask for Arthur against Grenier I reckon as he's got a good recent record so it'll need a good performance

Putting aside Evo (as injured) this whole cohort from Billy down through Harry W ish are really pushing each other on with challenger performances etc - maybe bring Jake into that with his performance this week etc. Great to see and hope we get that group of 10 or so into the AO qualies and see if we can get a couple into the main draw with Jack, Cam, Jake.

Broken in the 4th game of the final set, Arthur was *2-5 down. He has held, broken, so time to hold again.

*4-5
