Week 43 - ITF W100 Wrexham, Great Britain - Hard (Indoor)

I saw four matches and pretty much all mismatches - for a 100k, some of these should not be playing at this level

Indianna Spink won at a canter - looks under ranked, big powerful game.
Elizabeth Evans - she's a junior and her game is still very one dimensional in keeping the ball in play with very few weapons. Unfortunately she came up against a similar style player who was better at it. To be fair to Elizabeth, she should have won the second set.
Megan Davies had a wildcard as the local girl and won the first set, but got nowhere near those levels in sets 2 & 3. Her serve in particular letting her down and her opponent cutting out the errors.
Summer Yardley unfortunately was nowhere near the levels of the top seed and was a total mismatch.

Not bothering tomorrow - it is bang average fare for £7.50 plus 50 mins each way and a toll to cross the Mersey.
Will go Tues, Wed & Thurs - probably

Wondering CD, how does this compare with watching the same level tournaments in France/Europe?

Very good... - you can get a passenger ferry from Liverpool to the Wirral or you can drive through the tunnel or go over two bridges.
All require payment.
There is no way to go across for free without a massive detour...

I can't either - and the scores have stopped updating. Bet365 is showing scores though.

Indianna is 2-2 in the decider

Amelie is 0-4

Major web outage in the US - many websites not working, but gradually coming back on line. This appears to include the WTA site, parts of the ITF, but the ATP site seems to be OK.
