Well, Vacherot proving he isn't a flash in the pan; shame for Cam and had hoped he would back up his win over Alcaraz. One more week left for him now, hope he gets a good one in

Good win for H and H and it also confirms Harrison and King as the last qualifiers for the Tour Finals.

So close for Joe and Neal but they can look forward to Turin and hopefully be fighting for a semis spot there in a v competitive field

Shelton joins Fritz as qualifying for Turin. That makes 6 slots locked in.

AdM will draw equal with Fritz if he wins today, so presumably he will also qualify. Leaving just one slot left open.

FAA, Medvedev, ADF and Bublik are the challengers left to Musetti for that one place. Medvedev, ADF and Bublik need to win today or will drop out of the running; FAA needs to win his last 8 match tomorrow to keep in the frame, whilst the other 3 probably need to win the tournie

I see that the #2 pair in the race, Granollers & Zeballos, lost in the L16 ( their first match so nul points ). If Julian & Lloyd win the titie here they will have the race wrapped up before the tour finals.

And Henry and Harri are their only remaining rivals in Paris and even if H and H take the title, at best would still be almost 900 points behind J and L.

Whichever way you look at it, J and L are heavily in the box seat for the Race!

And AdM does qualify, well done to him. Leaves one place.

Musetti in the box seat

FAA will pass Musetti if he reaches the final here, will qualify if he wins the title. Needs one more win here to keep it alive into next week

Medvedev and Bublik need the title here to stay alive and take it to next week

FAA and Bublik are both entered into Metz as it stands; Musetti and Medvedev will no doubt take a wildcard into one of Athens or Metz if they need them. At the moment, still lots to play through this week before those decisions need cementing.

Henry and Harri lose the opening set 6-4 - they beat the same pair for the loss of 3 games in Vienna last week. Wasn't expecting that!

Play Halys and Herbert in the semis - theyve not lost a set all week and home nation team.

Is it any wonder that players are wrecked by the time they get to Turin. Meanwhile the top WTA players play really sparingly post US Open before Riyadh.

I agree- Medvedev and Bublik need to win this week, then go and win next week to get in. FAA could do it winning this week but most likely he and Musetti will also need to go next week as well.

I actually dont know why they dont stop the Race at the end of Paris, have a weeks gap to prep etc and rest. The guys who have to play next week to qualify are really impacted .
