Tarvet is not having a good time. Only won 5 points in the 1st set. 6-1 1-0 down.

4 of those points were in the first game which he won to 30. Next 6 games were 24 to 1. Second set was 24 to 6. Total was 50 points to 11.

What the heck was that about??

JoMo takes the first set 6-4.  Oddly, he won only 10% of points behind his 2nd serve.

That is a crazy score line - did he go mental walkabout?

JoMo seems to be close to winning though. Another semi in a good spell for him.

JoMo has done semi, RU and now semi again the past 3 weeks for an 11-2 record and still more to play this weekend. Thats a good run of form. Well done to him.

If he wins tomorrow, he'll break into the top 200.  His opponent, Rafael Jodar is also on a good run of form, having won two Challengers since August. Jodar is only 19 and is hence underanked.

He won the US Open juniors last year, as well as Roehampton J300.
