WRs at 24/11. Only Jodie has points due off ( net 147 ) before Aus Open entry dates so I have shown an equivalent WR with these points taken off*

WR 103: Katie B 744 points - tight for making the MD

WR 179: Harriet D 399 points - our one definite for qualifying

WR 249: Lily M 291 points - competing in the Slovakia W75 this week

WR 259*: Jodie B 425 (WR 167) - 147 (net) = 278 (equivalent to WR 259)

WR 260: Mimi X 274 points - competing in the Italy W50

WR 265: Heather W 264 points - out injured so N/A

WR 276: Katie S 252 points - competing in the Australia W75

Lily showing at 244 in live ranking and Mimi at 259.

Need at least two more wins this week, probably more to be in contention for Aus qualifying

Gosh it would be very disappointing to only have one girl in qualies, and if it's two for it to be because Katie has slipped out. We've been a bit spoiled with having lots of interest at this level over the past while. Lily isn't playing this week anymore so no chance of improving for her.

Lily is seeded in a qualifying drraw of 6 in Angers

Good. I had wondered when she withdrew from the Slovakia W75 if she might turn up in Angers. If fit and well it clearly made sense for her to be playing in the coming two weeks.

She is actually a 'qualifier'. The draw shows one qualifying round towards 4 qualifying places and Lily as one of the top 2 seeds who has a bye straight through.

I see that Katie B, WR 103, having talked about her body vs ranking dilemma, is not in the MD.

Lily's lowest counter appears to be 5 points - just by entering Angers she has replaced that with a whole 6 points ! One more win is worth 15 points, two wins for 27 points which might be enough .......

She's on the Italy W50 MD list.

Thanks for the update on where Mimi is playing. Both her and Lily are close to getting enough points to qualify for the Australia Open, so it will be interesting to see how they both do this week.

Katie B is now ranked at 104, with a few players close enough to probably overtake her this week - so she may well be looking at Aussie Open qualifying now. A lot depends on who gets a Protected Ranking entry and now many withdraw, so it still is pretty close, but my feeling is that now she will probably just miss out on direct entry.

Katie live ranked 103 going into the final week of qualification but has 9 players below her that can overtake in 3 different tournaments. Although they can't all overtake as they'll end up playing each other.
