British Tennis Forum November 2025 Player of the Month Award - Nominations thread

I agree with Indy - she should certainly be in the November equation and for her longer record be in the wildcard nominations if she needs one.

Mdewey - over to you if you fancy doing a nomination

There is an interesting conundrum here. What do we do about Katie? She has been steadily achieving over an extended period and not so far been nominated. Does that qualify as PoM November (we cannot change history, we did not nominate her before as far as I remember) or do we wait and nominate her for the wildcard vote as she spread her success over several months?

Yeah - as Indy says, she has actually had a couple of nominations so far this year, just not made significant impact on the vote.

But her record this month certainly qualify her for a November nomination IMO and her longer record for a wildcard nomination as well.

November may also be a generally quieter month than most, as will December, so it may well be that she has a shout in the vote - and she could well build on it in the next 2 weeks as well.

Nominations:

1. Cam Norrie - maybe Cam should have won this title, but he came in seeded 7, won round after round from behind and almost took the title in Metz. We have only had two ATP singles finalists all year, Jack in IW and now this and it is Cams only final of the season. We should celebrate that and the fact he has come back from nearly out of the top 100 to a likely Aussie Open seeding.

2. TBD - World Tour Finals Doubles - one of (at least) Joe/Neal, or Henry. Let's see who comes out on top!! - narrative to be written and updated accordingly

3. Liam Broady - qualified for and then proceeds to reach the final in the Lyon Challenger, beating Hanfmann, seeded 7 and ranked just outside the top 100, on the way. His first challenger final in over 2 years and this result lifts him from 390 to just outside the top 300, a rise of over 80 places. Welcome back, Liam.

 Had to be done!
