Whatever the issue and right and wrong, H and H won! 5 out of 8 players left in are Brits!

Based on seedings - 1, 2, and 5 - we could have hoped for a 7-2 win loss record in the groups stage and 2 representatives / 3 players in the semis.

We actually got a 7-2 record but 3 pairs and 5 players through. So job done. Now its just a case of stopping the home team with all the support!

Though, looking at the second set scoring, no doubt literally true at any time from 4-3* but the second set did go with serve and was won on a TB. Win it FAA did though, 6-4 7-6(4)

Big SFs for 2 players who it could be said have history of not getting across the line at the sharp end of the biggest tournaments.

(1) Alcaraz vs (8) Auger-Aliassime
(2) Sinner vs (7) de Minaur

Harri & Henry *3-2 up after breaking Bolleli (an amazing point from Henry set up the BP); on Vavassori's serve a long delay after the umpire called touch - video review showed (I think) quite clearly that at most the ball grazed Bolleli's shirt, making no difference to its flight, but the umpire stood by it.

early break for H and H, and up 3-2 (and 16 points to 10 as well so far). Good start

Opening set 6-4. Just the one break but the lads were in control in what I imagine is a pro opponent atmosphere. Well done. So far.

And an early break in set 2, serving at 2-1.

Maintaining the break, now 3-5 with the Italian pair serving to stay in the match

So, guaranteed a British winner with 5 of the last 6 players left British, plus Harri!

And 3 of the 4 finalists will be as well

What an amazing tournament and what a year for British tennis mens doubles
