Liam is live 340 as of this moment. Could reach back into the top 300 if the winds follow him strongly!

Where has this come from Liam?!

Something finally clicked again, maybe?  It's just taken time & a helluva lot of patience!  We'll know better after his QF.

Liam deserves a lot of credit. After playing Grand Slams and spending most of last 2-3 years at Super Challengers and lower ATPs, it takes a lot to go back and find your form playing 15Ks but he stuck at it over the summer and finally the results came and he has played himself in to great form. Having seen a bit of his games this week on catch-up he is playing really aggressively, which is always how he plays when he wins. Always a sign of his game in good form when he is taking the ball going forward and finding himself at the net, he only does that when he is feeling confident. This win will take him back into Top 350 which I expect was at top of his expectations when he started playing these 15Ks and he is playing for big points over the next two days. A good quality win today against a decent opponent who has been playing well, to follow up a really impressive win against Hanffman. Having missed most of the summer, he just might be feeling fresher than some of these guys though he has played a lot recently. Fingers crossed he can turn a really good week into an outstanding one, which would put him on cusp of AO qualies. Either way, he will be looking forward to 2026 with good deal more confidence than a month or so ago.

Thanks Toby, good overview. I was amazed to see Liam has played 75 matches this season, so far, and not including this week. He actually has a 73% win rate up to this week as well. He has played this series of 6 or 7 M15 events and amassed a 25-4 record in those, winning a couple, but clearly getting the match play in. Glasgow M25 last week wasnt too good, he lost to Hamish Stewart in straight sets, but its clearly clicked and clicked well!

Totally agreed. This is one of the success stories of dropping down a couple of levels to get form. It doesnt work for everyone but Im delighted it has worked for Broady.

Liam was an early break down in that first set.   Added (LL) or Struff (6) in the final...

He's definitely back, baby!

One month ago, Liam lost in the final of a 15K to a player ranked 558. If it's JLS in the final, it'll be tough, but making the final this week is a huge step forward.

Very good to see. Hopefully this is the boost he needed to keep going in 2026 and get back up there.
