That's a super looking win for Mika, still a 16 yo for another couple of weeks   biggrin

Arguably the kind of player an Aus Open Q WC should be possible for but realistically no chance. Your time will come, Mika, and time is what you have loads of.

Well done Mika. Was Mr Bates there?

She is tough Mika. She will need that tenacity as she progresses. Another super win for our youngsters. With Mika and Mimi making strides in the senior game and Hannah waiting in the wings, a changing of the guard seems to be upon us. I think Matrni, Lily Jodie etc will struggle against these younger players coming through. Lots to get excited about in 2026.

A great win (again !). Thought she'd crumble after losing the second set from 4-2 up.

QF:- Mika Stojsavljevic (GBR) WR342/16yo [Q8] def Polina Iatcenko (***) WR168 6-3 4-6 7-6(4)

Could possibly play Zvonareva who's doing well in her first tournament back after seemingly retiring 18 months ago.

 Yes

A super week from Mika

And, like you, I think next year is the real 'sea change' year for GB women
