The top 3 on the final leader board are Jay Johnson-Hauldren, Marcus Walters and Benjamin Gusic-Wan for the men Mia Wainwright, Eloise Newberry and Ciara Moore for the women
Based on the fact sheet criteria, they'll be invited to the Masters along with
Phoenix Weir, James Story, Matt Summers, Lois Newberry, Katherine Barnes, Freya Christie (Premier Tier winners) and last year's winners Harry Wendelken & Eliz Maloney and a LTA discretionary WC.
Should any invitations be declined the next on the leaderboard to be invited are Nathan Mansfield, Cameron Fryer, Alfie King Sophia Christodoulou, Chloe Cleaver, Tamara Kuti
Draw will be on 8 December when we should know the field for certain
Thanks Lambda - id wondered about these. The field looks pretty strong in both mens and womens, if they all accept their places.
The TS Scottish Masters takes place later the same week I think - any idea on how the field is shaping up there or how it is constituted?
Top seeds are Aadya Iyer in the women's and Nicolas Rosenzweig in the men's.
Anna McBride of this board (her Dad at least) is in the women's field
Not sure when the British Tour Masters field is formally confirmed (Lambda mentions the players qualified above but I presume there is some scope for movement if player's choose not to play?).
Play in the British Tour Masters starts Thursday through Friday

All the men take up their place. No wildcard awarded so Nathan Mansfield joins the field. Eloise Newberry and Katherine Barnes are replaced by Sophia Christodoulou and Chloe Cleaver. Tegan Bush gets the wild card.

Thanks Lambda - so no player seems to be playing both the British and TS events. Sensible!
Harry Wendelken stands out as by far the top player on the mens list, good chance for a repeat there. Womens looks much more wide open and probably lesser quality field?
It's a shame that certain individuals with power have decided they don't want a thread about the British Tour Masters on "their" board and merged the threads with the general thread. I don't see why the men's and women's boards should be exclusively for the pro tour. It would be nice to have brought out those that have made the achievement to reach the Masters and give them the recognition, especially in a quiet week when there is little else happening on the men's and women's boards. After all the men's board is for "discussion of British male players" and the womens board for "discussion of British women players". Nothing in those descriptions that suggest they are exclusively for discussion of pro events. Rant over.

I guess whoever did it wasnt malicious so much as assuming this was the thread? It crossed my mind wed duplicate and I commented thus but then decided a mens and womens was good so deleted my comment!
I had nout to do with it, but saw it as an attempt at tidiness with no further motive ( for those who don't know the men's and women's Masters finals draws had been posted in new ( now deleted ) men's and women's sections threads as well as being separately added to this existing thread. Some of that info, while a repeat, was at the same time merged into this thread.
None of us have "their board" as such, with the active moderators generally moderating over the whole forum.
And while I see Lambda's points re having the info in the men's and womens sections, as far as I am concerned there has never been any active intention to keep these sections for just the pro tour players with somehow meaning to give less recognition to non worldwide pro tour tournament players. It is just that some series have landed ( rightly or wrongly - though not sure there is a right or wrong ) in the general section, with men's and women's results for a tournament combined ( and combined events in these series are more prevalent than in these international pro events ).
So maybe some points to be thought further about but the supposed intent of the mod's actions I honestly severely question ( and this is no support another mod thing, I have still discussed it with none of them ).
I hope this adds a little clarity.

On one level it doesnt matter, at all. But I think given that Telstar had set them up, there was no harm keeping them up for the reasons Lambda suggests. Given the lack of tennis taking place, Id certainly follow them the next few days and having a dedicated thread seems a good idea for mens and womens. But I certainly wouldnt get too excited either way!
But it does raise the question - say Jack D had played last week at the Copper Box in the UTS Showdown, where would we put that? To me , Id go in the mens, but its an exho, would that make a difference?

Well, as I tried to explain, there is to my mind no particular intent in the first place to keep the men's and women's sections for international pro tour events so I'd say that such an event would just be judged at the time ( there is no rule to make a difference ) and I wouldn't have thought ( certainly before today ) that it was a biggie.
Didn't personally interest me, Jack playing or not. Personally, I would have more expected it to be in the men's section, but hey ho if someone put it in the general section.
For surely still for such an event it is still indeed no biggie either way?
