Chose Savannah as someone I hadnt heard of before so her achievements seemed impressive. Hesitated between her, the Wake Forest pair and Brooke Black.

FWIW I would say Savannah, Brooke, Cam and Harry are all pretty secure for the next round.

Interesting. Clearly all these sitting in 6th equal on 1 vote are under great risk of missing out on the top 6 plus equals qualifiers. Can at least one of Hamish, Jake, Oliver, Wake Forest Brits, JoMo or Ryan pick up another vote to probably guarantee progress to the final?

Following pre-specified rules is clearly good but in this case in both groups there are long ties for last spot. Realistically none of the tied players is likely to progress into the main vote even if they get into the play-off so perhaps it would be best not to include any of the ties for last spot. That would make the play-off final more manageable.

And, of course, obligatory thanks to Jon for organising all this.

Thanks Mdewey-lets see where it lands. that is an option, I agree, and will help keep the numbers manageable and just one final. The other option is to create 5 small groups of 3 or 4 each but seeded based on round one votes. That will mean I include the tied players that are causing the headache.

Feels like there must be half a dozen or so voters out there yet to vote, so hoping they come through later! and also hoping they arent just waiting to the last few seconds as , being frank, thats painful! And causes me more work as I play around with different options!

Voted for Harry - one of the most surprising seasons. Began the year way outside the top 600 and I don't think anyone could have predicted that he'd be starting 2026 close to the top 300, and in a good position to push for at least a Wimbledon qualifying WC in the summer
