Big favour - if anyone is out there lurking and thinking to vote just to cause a bigger set of ties - please dont. Do vote, but dont do it to create a bigger set of ties. It causes me more work, which is fine if genuine votes but very frustrating if it is done just to cause a bit of mischief !

If anyone is around at 3pm and sees I am not around, please feel free to confirm the vote as closed in my absence and declare the results, in both groups!

I may or may not be back in time, my wife wants us to go out for some stuff!

9 in the tie now. It does feel someone did those two votes on purpose.

Torn between Liam and Joe/Neal, but went for Liam in the hope that my vote is enough for him to make the final. Will revisit the decision again if Liam makes the final.

Similar to my post for group one, Jonny, Liam has been on 2 votes for at least 45 minutes.

So did you vote a while ago or perhaps not register your vote?

Hi Indy - happy for you to summarise like you did, it was very helpful!!

I will sort out the next round groups - going with 5 groups of 3 or 4 based on seedings taken from positions in this vote

Ben, Lui, Emily, Jack PJ, Hollie and Josh all depart at this stage. Congrats to them on a great season and all the best for 2026.

Luke was tied 6th in this initial vote and yet came through to qualify for the PoS finals; Arthurs journey was similar. Good luck to both in the finals.

Yes, they both came from what did originally look the strongest initial group. And in the final groups the vote split was 53 votes to players that came from original group 1 and 91 votes to players from original group 2.

In that group 2 vote above Mimi and Joe/Neal were well clear with 12 and 9 votes respectively and then romped their finals. Arthur with 3 votes and Luke with 2 votes were in the batch of 7 getting from 2 to 4 votes. They and the rest of that batch would very possibly have got more initial votes if they had been in group 1. Just the luck of the initial draw and in retrospect it's maybe quite good that the 6th equals went through with Luke being one of them ( quite near the end he was 8th equal on 1 vote ).

It may have caused you pain at the time with it being so unclear as to how many would reach the final but I think ultimately the two initial groups and seeded 5 final groups worked well.

Worked out more by luck than judgement! But got there eventually! Looking forward to a good finals starting tomorrow!
