RE: Para Tennis 2026

Hi Jon,

There really is not much to this year. With spending 4 month at Soto, Virtus problems, my dad passing away, stress, illness and a wrist injury, Anna has not done that much this year. She won the women's singles and doubles at the AO in January. Despite being ill and suffering a wrist injury, she also managed to win the World singles and mixed doubles in Poland by using variety and court craft to unbalance Eva in the finals. The wrist is still a problem, so she is mainly focused on volunteering and coaching work. She may get to play at the British tour in Glasgow, but that will just be to see how the wrist holds up. We are awaiting the results of the xray she had on the wrist, as the MRI was not conclusive.

So not the best of years so far, but the main thing she retained her titles.

Thanks - no worries, lets capture that and I will see if one of our "writers" can weave a story out of it, the rest is all in this thread anyway, I guess.

And winning those titles was a big deal so worth celebrating! and they are the main thing in the context of this!
