Alfie was despatched 2 and 1 as Tokito Oda found form, and probably now heads to Paris as favourite

Congrats to William Barton and Matthew Knoesen as GB Boys win the Junior World Team Cup over Japan.

Never in any doubt. Both, plus Lucas John, head to Paris for the French Open next where they comprise 3 of the 4 singles entrants

French Open action has started with Gordon on court now (losing 1-4) and Alfie towards end of the day.

Quad singles and mens and womens doubles events will start tomorrow, not sure if QF's of the mens and womens singles are tomorrow or will be Thursday

Gordon fought well in the second set but went down 2 and 4 to Oda. Tough draw, that was.

Doubles to come with Alfie later in the week.

Alfie plays his singles opener later this afternoon.

Tomorrow Alfie and Gordon start their doubles campaign in the last 8, whilst Andy and Greg also start their event in the quad singles last 8.

The boys singles draw at the French is out, comprising 3 Brits (Knoesen, Barton, de Gouveai) and the Belgian top seed Lantermann. Can one of the Brits take down the top ranked player?

In the boys doubles, Matt Knoesen partners Lanterman against Will Barton and Lucas-John De Gouveai- so a British title winner is guaranteed, whoop whoop.

In the FO Quad singles, Andy Lapthorne lost his QF to Niels Vink in straight sets.

Greg Slade is playing next

Greg went down 0 and 0 (ouch) to Ahmet Kaplan, so Alfie is the only singles player we have left in. His Mens QF will be tomorrow

In doubles, Alfie and Gordon won their QF opening match easily and into the semis.

They and Andy/Greg are now in doubles (mens and quad respectively) action later in the week, with Alfie's MS QF tomorrow

Big day in the FO wheelchair events today - the QS semis, MS and WS QF's are all being played, as are the semis in each of the 3 doubles genres.

Which means Alfie will have singles QF and (with Gordon) doubles SF, and Andy/Greg QF doubles SF.

Not sure the schedule from there - presumably the MS and WS semis are tomorrow, not sure when the doubles finals and singles finals will be planned for, possibly doubles finals Friday or Saturday and singles finals Saturday or Sunday?

ETA - seems it is planned to play the wheelchair semis tomorrow and wheelchair finals Saturday.

After a tough semi, Gustavo Fernandez came through in 3 sets to now face Alfie in the semis

The other semi is Oda and de la Puente (dlP also had a tough 3 setter).

The big 4 continue to be at the sharp end of all the big events
