Looking at the ranking points, Andy matches his lowest counter and has no points dropping off anyway this year; Greg isnt losing any, but can only add 380 points max now. As his lowest counter is 120 and there are no other tournaments offering that level of points, this will most likely be his final tournament of the year. And he won't be able to add beyond the 380 he may gain here. As he is 500 points behind, he can't catch Andy.

So Andy knows now he is year end British number one, well done to him (once more). He has this event still, plus the year end NEC Masters in Barcelona to come, hopefully will gain a few wins at those
