A shame Hannah couldn't be no.1 for a little longer especially as she's beaten Efremova comfortably in the past.
Honestly, just me, but I don't think it matters in the slightest
If Hannah were still playing juniors, it would matter
But she's not got any junior events lined up - I expect her to do Wimbledon but that's it
Emerson Jones and Lilli Tagger, for instance, are still juniors and zooming along in adults - Emerson didn't even bother playing the Aussie Juniors - it's just not where their tennis is any more - and Hannah is sort of the same
It's great that Hannah hit the top spot, so her CV can have former world number one - but whether it's one week or ten weeks, I can't see it mattering
(And, for what it's worth, Hannah will overtake Ksenia in adult rankings next Monday)
Absolutely, CD, just very nice for the CV to be have been JWR 1..
She has done it while the aforementioned Lilli Tagger and Emerson Jones at least, very probably.better overall players at this stage, are still juniors but have moved on, as Hannah basically has now. And while Emerson has been JWR 1, Lilli's CH is JWR 3.
