Just out of interest, and this observation could be purely down to what I've been looking at, but I don't believe I've ever seen a match suspended halfway through, then scheduled for first on court the following day. If that's a rule or tradition, is there a reason for it?

Yes, I've noticed that also. Maybe it's because sometimes they have been playing extremely late and fairer to the players not to have an early start as well.

I think its the standard - assumption presumably is they are last court the previous day and it gives them chance to be properly rested for the next day.
Osorio was playing well but Emma was even better. There were some excellent rallies in today's play. If Emma continues playing at that standard she will take some stopping.
