Just our 2 qualifiers in the top half. 4 direct entrants and 2 WCs in the bottom half.
Just 2 WCs?
Yes, because the other 2 WCs are Vic and Alicia. But because they were next in, they didn't use their WCs so as to give them direct entry. If 4 WCs were awarded and they didn't go to Vic and Alicia, they would have to have played qualifying.

Got it, thanks. They also promoted the next in line, Urszula Radwanska, but only after the qualifying draw had been made so I guess that was too late to assign another WC instead?
Essentially there is a higher proportion of the matches involving qualifiers being played tomorrow than the proportion of matches with no qualifiers.
3 of the 7 matches involving qualifiers are being played ( not including the one Q vs Q match where both would be on a similar schedule ). 3 of the 9 matches with no qualifiers are being played.
So if guidance is to give qualifiers a day off then they are apparently taking no notice of that, even with a limited singles schedule of 6 singles matches and 9 to choose from with no qualifiers.
A days rest between qualifying and the main draw is only required if they have played 2 qualifying matches in one day, otherwise they are required to give qualifiers 12 hours between their qualifying match and their main draw match.
