Anyway Mika on court now. Seems to be firing on all cylinders which she will need to do.

Overall, the best I've seen Hannah play in quite a while

Far better serving than normal, a real weapon, really on the ball.

And even the beginning of the wobble at the end of the second set was fine, as in that's how matches go, it's all quite close

But the two games she lost at 5-5 were dreadful - just gave it away with a bow in it

It's almost as though Hannah has a fear of winning some times... as with many it could be the mental game which lets her down, but she can correct that... hopefully

Mika though is stronger willed at the moment, and a real fighter.

However, she has just been broken back by a fired up Bandecchi when serving fot the match. Though Mika was less than happy about the DF call that clinched that break after a long game.

5-5*

Not suprised by the doubles final.
Alicia and Elena are a good established pair who are flying up the rankings

Yes, good of Mika to keep her cool after missing all those MPs (she was wrong about the line call, IMO - and our camera is perfectly placed but - again - she did well not to get TOO sidetracked by it)

And she played a solid TB, unlike her opponent who started badly and then it's difficult to stop

Good job, Mika

 Well done, the Brits

Both teams were the better ranked, so both 'should' have won

But not always that easy

Only watched bits and pieces, but Mika was much better today.

Must have a decent chance in the next round and with Dodin on the other side of the draw, half decent chance of making the final

She is a good fighter our Mika. Tenacious today and deserving of the win.
