I was there when Katy Dunne celebrated her Wimbledon qualifying win only to realise the tie break was to 10, which she agonisingly lost...

 Yes, me too

She went bright scarlet and was SO embarrassed

Me too - and I think there were one or two others from here.

Yes, I was there. Felt very disappointed for her when she lost.

George manages to keep the flag flying, albeit courtesy of Nishioka's retirement:

QR2:  George Loffhagen WR 209 defeated (q8) Yoshihito Nishioka (JPN) WR 116 by 6-3 3-1 retired   biggrin

FQR:  George Loffhagen WR 209 vs Nishesh Basavareddy (USA) WR 239 (CH = 99 last June)

The up & coming Yank beat the Austrian q19, Sebastian Ofner (WR 131), by 13-11 in the third set super tie-break...

FQR:  George Loffhagen WR 209 lost to Nishesh Basavareddy (USA) WR 239 (CH = 99 last June)  7-5 4-6 4-6 cry (but biggrin for getting to the FQR and giving it an excellent go. Nishesh saved 14/15 BP!)

Congrats to Arthur, and particularly for the no nonsense three straight sets wins. A shame he's got Cobolli first round.

A pity George could only win one of 15 break points. Any more and he could have joined Arthur in the main draw.
