I thought Id read that Katie was now in the MD ?

Don't believe everything that you read unless it's backed up by an official source.

 But it was true smile

No it wasn't. If it were true she wouldn't have been seeded and drawn in qualifying.

It was/is true - she's in the MD smile

And even if we're talking timing, she could have been in the qualis by mistake - i.e. she was in the MD all along but the referee made an error, so she was never really in qualies, whatever the draw said

(not saying that happened, it doesn't matter, the truth is she's in the main draw, stated then, proven to be true now smile

If a tournament director can give a wild card to Hajar Abdelkader, then it is certainly possible for Katie Boulter to be left in the qualifying draw. But it would surprise me for a player to be replaced in the main draw without the replacement being removed from qualifying. Which suggests that the main draw withdrawal hadn't been officially made.

But ultimately no one loses out - except perhaps the next two players to be seeded in qualifying. Probably not a hanging offence.

I'm with you both

Great fan of Discovery+ (and Eurosport)

Super coverage - easy to find - nicely presented - what's not to love?

It is - I remember when it used to be about a tenner cry

BUT, to be honest, that was a REAL bargain, and if you live in London you can't get a drink and a quick bite to eat at a pub for much less than £30 - certainly not for two

So it's good value still, in terms of the time I get out of it (although that might be an issue in itself )

Mimi is a set down. It looks like she broke at the start of the second but is in a bit of a struggle to keep her serve - she was 15-40 down, however has just held her serve.
3-6 3-1*
