Lloyd and Julian are still live WR 1 and 2 respectively.
Zeballos and Granollers would go WR 1 and 2 respectively if they win the SF.
Neal would go WR 1 if he and Christian ( who would be WR 11 ) win the title. That would then mean Brits in the top 3 spots in the rankings.
I cant recall if Neal has reached 1 before?
As per the ATP site rankings info, Neal was WR 1 for most of the 9 months from 14/11/22 to 28/08/23, apart from 6 of these ranking updates.
That was almost entirely joint WR 1 with his partner at the time, Wesley Koolhof. But he did slip in one week as sole WR 1 at the end of that period, 28/08/23, after he reached an ATP 250 final partnering Lloyd Glasspool.

Thanks Indy - I suspect winning the AO would be the most importwnt thing he is interested in, the ranking will look after itself.

SF: Well fought but ultimately the Aussie WCs come through.
(WC) Jason Kubler & Marc Polmans (AUS/AUS) CR 1768 (1432+336) DEFEATED Luke Johnson & Jan Zielinski (POL) CR 74 (41+33)
6-2 3-6 6-3
Marvellous - well done to Neal , another great grand slam week; and to Luke on his best grandslam showing
Atmosphere for the final should be cracking.
3 finals in the last 4 Grand Slam events for Neal - French and US with Joe, now Australia with Christian. One step further and hes world number one.
Come on Neal, youve got this!
There was hardly anyone watching the semi final. Neal and Christian were very good.
Well done to them
But does say rather a lot about doubles if no one was even watching a Grand Slam semi-final
Part of it might have been due to the ticketing. If you had a ticket for the Ladies SF tonight, I am pretty sure you couldnt get in early to watch - it was ground pass only and obviously less people are going in on those at this stage.
Not sure what the arrangements are for the Final on Saturday.
