According to my records this is only the eighth occasion two Katies have met at this stage or later of a main tour WTA event.

 I heard that two players called Novak have never played in the semis of any ranking event in the modern era.

Pity, so close.

Still 98 points from a good week for Madeleine. She is live ranked 121 on 672 points with only 216 of these due off before August. GB #4.
