Half way through that final set Emma seemed to jump into a new mindset of "enough of this messing about lets finish it off" she starting hitting harder and harder forehands until her opponent's returns broke down. But then her opponent starting hitting the lines and came part way back until Emma threw in that couple of drop shots to finish it off. That match could so easily have got away but a very determined Emma stuck to it and came through.
SF:- Emma Raducanu (GBR) WR30 [1] beat Oleksandra Olimykova (UKR) WR91 by 7-5 3-6 6-3
Emma is now live ranked 25 and that will be her ranking on Monday. It will be her highest ranking since her US Open title points came off in 2022. It will be a CH 75 for the Ukrainian.

2 GB WTA finalists in the same week. I bet that is a first
Why the reticence to acknowledge the Nottingham WTA final? I appreciate the dismay felt in some quarters at Burrage basically retiring herself but we must honour the memory of her high points.
