Jan ( WR 101 at 25/05 and only missing out on WR 100 based on tournaments played ) is currently showing as live ranked 97 on 600 points in the live 08/06 post RG rankings.

I doubt he will hold onto top 100 with these points and that he will probably need to add further Challenger points next week. But that's apparently where we are just now so worth keeping a little eye on.

Jan now live ranked 98 after a French Open R1 win for Wu Yibing against Giron.

3 more in action on Tuesday, who if they win their R1 match would overtake Jan - Comesana ( vs Quinn ), Faria ( vs Shapovalov ), Walton ( vs Medvedev ).

Going to be an interesting couple of weeks to follow. Jan has the big German and Slovak challengers in Heilbron and Bratislava to come over the next couple of weeks before , presumably, getting at least a week in on grass before W.

I had thought we might have been kept interested for a few more French Open days at least.

But Comesana, Faria and Walton ( ! - Medvedev is no clay lover but still ... ) all won the above R1 matches and, added to De Jong winning a R2 match today, Jan is now down to live ranked 102

Jan continues to stutter at the finishing line, 106 live right now - close but no cigar. Arthur seems to be next in line now, could he get there before him? With Toby, Billy and Jack PJ still a little way away and not really made much progress to getting over the line.

Jake and Jack D are now also outside the top 100, not included in this vote but interesting to see if they can get back into the top 100 before any of the newbies make it?

Right now it seems to be between Jan and Arthur but it is proving elusive!

eta Toby has clearly progressed a lot since the poll was set but still a reasonable distance from top 100 right now.

Eastbourne and Wimbledon could change a lot of things for anyone of these players, of course.

Have to say JonH, interesting to read how the race is going. Have to say though my eyes are on Jack and how quickly he can get back to top 20. If the others do make the top 100 do we have a top 50 player in that bunch? Maybe Arthur?

The poll was set up 4 months ago, February 21, and I think I thought we would get someone over the line by now! Shows how hard it is!

And yes, re Jack, hes clearly better than top 100 only and needs to stay fit. I predicted a slam for him by now and injury has clearly hampered him massively - maybe 2027? Presumably not 2026?!

It will indeed happen this week, and we.could even possibly have 2 new top 100 players.

Jan is there in live rankings and very much in pole position to stay there.

From the Eastbourne thread :

"So, if you are keeping up, Jan has gone to live ranked 100 !! And at least one Brit will enter the official top 100.

All that can stop Jan now is him not winning another match and either Toby or Jack PJ winning the title here, in which case it would be they that would be our new entrant into the top 100. Odds clearly against Jan being denied but possible.
.
If Jan wins another match and one of either Toby or JPJ wins the title, we will have 2 new entrants into the top 100."

Of the 25 votes here, Jan has 3 votes, JPJ 17, and Toby none.

With Toby winning his Eastbourne QF and Jan losing, it can no longer be both into the top 100 in the next rankings.

It is either or !
