Week 9 - ATP Challenger 50 - Hersonissos, Crete (Greece) (hard)

I feel like it's happened a few times in these CH 50 events?

Also Evo vs Kedders many years ago in Dallas.

Well done to Finn Bass.

Having been a very good junior, for whatever reasons he has never really progressed in seniors as he would no doubt have liked, with a singles CH 756 way back in 2018.

But after 2 challenger doubles SFs already this year ( both with Ben Jones ), he now has this challenger final. He will be up to a further new doubles CH ( currently live ranked 262 ), having ended last year WR 333.

Yes, Harry was arguably unlucky not to have at least made our PoS vote. I see that he lost out to Luke Johnson in the final wildcard groups.

May he be inspired to keep on producing so as to get into the mix for 2026

Live ranked 209 as of right now am a final win will take him top 200. He will be joining JPJ and Arthur as ones to watch this summer. With those 3 and Jack and Jake, we have a batch of 23/24 year olds really making this an exciting year ahead

And Harry fast moving up there too  biggrin

And at various stages of progress - George, Felix and JoMo also 23/24 yo. JoMo seems to have gone missing for now?

Wondering whether JoMo is taking an extended training block? I remember listening to an interesting interview he gave during the US indoor challenger swing in the autumn where he said that his aim for his 2nd full year on tour was to actually play less - but make sure that when he did play, he was really ready and prepared
