I'd sooner Dan than Stan but I do feel that the rant about not getting a Queens WC felt very manipulative, same as the whole Tatjana Maria thing, a little coercive and that may have made them reconsider.

If such things effect them against players then they are not fit for purpose.

No one likes to feel like they're being manipulated. Dan should have kept his mouth shut for once (and I'm a fan of him)

Maybe the delay for Dan is just too teach him a little lesson - although that would seem petty to me. And wouldnt fit for Billys case.

I see Berrettini is next in. My instinct is it is down to him, Billy and Evo.

If Berrettini moves up then Billy and Dan get them. If he doesnt, Berrettini could be lined up, then depends if Billy goes and does something special this week to edge him over Evo. So suspect that will all play out and be resolved by end of this week?

Well, it has to be, doesn't it?

I mean, you can't have Billy start qualis and then give him a MD WC, can you? biggrin

thanks Seagull for that info - let's see if that causes any knock on effect, then.

Presumably Felix is also now only 3 spots off qualies direct entry

And with Oliver and Jay out of challengers today, Felix is the only Q WC contender left playing this week ( plays his R2 later today ). Given he was to my mind already the next in line for a Q WC surely one way or another he now gets into qualies even if still playing in Nottingham ( so missing the play-offs )

Jamie Murray and Kyle Edmund are playing in the invitational doubles and Greg Rudedski in the Mixed invitational doubles. They've listed the players in alphabetical order so not sure who is playing with who.

Jay and Oli C QWC's

Nothing for Billy or Dan!

I am stunned - re Evo and surprised re Billy. Billy just won in Nottingham, will come off to that news.

For Evo, that is a disgrace. I recall he gave up playing at tournaments to play doubles for his country with Andy at the Olympics. What a shambles.

Brutal for Liam as well. Regained his ranking to the cusp of the top 200 and made third round twice
