Seeing that Kyrgios is playing today, would he need a wildcard or has he got some sort of protected ranking that would get him in anyway. Can't see the aeltc denying him one if asked?

Question: Christof Schaertlin/Schärtlin Coffey - both the ATP & the ITF sites have him as Swiss (I've seen his name on various ITF qualies draw sheets recently, so I've ignored him), but SofaScore has consistently displayed a Union Flag against his name. Is he one of ours?

Don't know (he's definitely not got Joe Bloggs English parents )
But his US college bio lists his hometown as Cambridge, UK

Swiss mother and Irish father. Anybody with a LTA registration can play the British Tour.
So I wasn't too far out! Thanks, Lambda.
Still doesn't tell us why Sofascore have a GB flag next to him if he plays for Switzerland for ATP and ITF
He appears with a GB flag because he first appeared on the database that these sites used in UTR tournaments and UTR typically use residence for their flags. Matt Upton shows as French in UTRs. Sofia Johnson showed with a US flag in the UTR she played earlier this year.
Dan retiring after Wimbledon obviously means he will be at Wimbledon and not just qualies, surely? So that is one wildcard for Dan (otherwise they would have worded it differently?).
Just compared this, for singles, to the other 3 slams to see where it sits in comparison. Figures are the % that Wimbledon is above or below that round for prize money compared to the other slam. I have taken the prize money as it was at the last tournament but have used todays exchange rate according to xe.com. Probably not 100% accurate but a rough illustration of where the new prize money sits.
"Two tournaments remain. Evans is expected to receive a wildcard into the qualifying competition for next week's ATP event at Queen's and will then wait and see what the Wimbledon wildcard committee decides."

Or could that be a gross assumption?
I think a MD WC is a fair assumpion. Hopefully room for Dan plus the 5 GB 'locks'. Who are the foreign possibles again?
