Quite torn here. Katie seems to be returning to form, perhaps I can vote for her later in the year when she moves to greater things. I think I will wait for Sofia to establish herself. So that leaves Maia who gets my vote. I know she will not win since doubles players have to do really, really well to succeed in these polls but that is not the point.

Thanks mdewey - sadly, some would say, the doubles players do need to excel to get the votes. It is a singles world, it seems! Spare a thought for wheelchair and junior players who find it even harder to get many votes!

Mind you, last month, the top 2 came from mens doubles (Neal Skupski) and the para tennis game (Anna McBride), so there is hope!

Yes, generally week to week, month to month, particularly outside the Slams, what most of the forum follows, watches, writes about and votes for is senior singles. Respect to players in all categories and to these who write about and try to bring to the fore other categories, as well as singles. I am sure the great majority here are open and receptive but ultimately folks' preferences are their preferences. And it is interesting to see that reflected in the votes, and helped where folk like mdewey stick to their guns.

And c'mon those who haven't voted yet, who's your PoM?

The top two are not in doubt, and I was thinking of voting for Sofia but I having looked at the voting, I would not like Indianna to end up with no votes as I think winning a first ITF is a great indication of things to come.

1 - Hep O, Indianna S

27 votes with just over 3 hours left  - still v close for top spot. Surely a decent number of votes in this - we had 34 last month, we had 53 in February 24!

I couldn't decide between Jack and Katie so I voted Katie in the hope I might level things up - but didn't quite manage it!!!

Ha- not quite and there are still 2 1/2 hours left to vote so things can still change, maybe a fair bit?!
