I see that those responsible for keeping the ATP site up to date are falling down on the job yet again:  still no sign of the coming week's Challenger draws!  furious

Just waiting in for a parcel delivery so watched Harry vs Giles for a good hour. Im not sure if the courts are very slow or if neither player would be regarded as power hitters, but it looked like a massive struggle for both to penetrate their opponent at all. Lots of VERY long rallies which looked a bit too safe and defensive to my untrained eye. Harry was slightly the more consistent player, and that was the only obvious difference between them. A very pleasant morning waiting for FedEx!

Im hoping to catch some of Toby later - my impression from having watched him once before is that theres considerably more upside potential from his game and he has been rising up the rankings with momentum on his side.

Indiana commented a while back about those top 25 Brits lists that I used to enjoy looking at every week. There were even times when 1 or 2 unranked players would sneak into the top 25, more often on the womens side - but that seems a lifetime away. Great to see large numbers of good standard players with a fair few clearly in with a shot at the top 100 (or 200 at worst). Happy days!

Toby has beaten Rincon twice in the past few weeks; a tight first set and then a more comfortable second set in both cases. Same again, please, Toby

Paul won pretty easily 6-1, 6-2.

I suspect that Harry ran out of gas. Played a lot of matches in the last couple of weeks, and watching the end of his match with Giles yesterday, he looked absolutely beaten sitting down afterwards, and I wondered if he might run out of steam today.

Believe he's now heading for the big Asian hard court swing in a couple of weeks. Good to see Paul winning matches at this level again - would be great to see him go on and make the final
