Other events, 2026 - week 10

J60 Latvia

Last week's winner, Matilda Burns, fell at the first hurdle

As did Celine Ricaud, playing the top seed

But Dasha Jones, age 13, has won two rounds, including beating the 4th seed, and is now into the quarters

J30 Sweden

First round losses for Harrison Clowe and Oliwajomiloju Aminu

Jomi is into the semis in doubles though

J30 Czechia

Levi Taylor lost in R2

J30 Armenia

Kamran Arif lost in R1

J60 Latvia

Young Dasha Jones, age 13, has won her quarter-final match, and will play the top seed in the SFs

This will give her a boost of about 500 places up the rankings

Rather fortunate for Dasha - and sounds as though it must have been rather dramatic for her opponent, poor girl

The top seed took the first set against Dasha, 7-6(3), and she was leading 6-5 in the second set

Only one game away from victory

And then retired.....

Presumably an acute injury - wish her better

But 13 year-old Dasha is now into the final (and obviously ran the top seed very close in the semis)

Funnily enough, the second seed also retired in the other semi-final

So Dasha will play 13 year-old Henningsen in the final

J30 Sweden

Oliwajomiloju ('Jomi') Aminu and partner won the doubles title, 2-6 7-6(5) 10-4

This is Jomi's first ever ITF title, I believe

Congratulations to him
