 It's tough throughout. No-one got bumped into the main draw (hence Ranah is seeded Q5). Half of the main draw are ranked inside the top 300.

I think of this as a clay court practice

Hannah isn't entered for the nationals, so no need to run back to hard

She's very focused on clay, as her claimed favourite surface (although she has the right to change her mind)

So, for her at least, it's not so much a point gathering exercise, but a clay practice in competition period
